Hardball Bullet Alloy, 2-pound ingot, (92% Lead/ 2% Tin/6% Antimony)
Rock Shot ProductsOur Hardball alloy is formulated at 92-6-2, providing a versatile balance of strength, hardness, and castability. This blend is considered a modern evolution of traditional high-performance casting alloys and is well suited for a wide range of handgun bullets as well as many higher-velocity rifle applications.
Each ingot measures approximately 2.5" x 2.5" x 1" and weighs about 2 pounds (± 0.25 lb), offering convenient handling and precise melt control for consistent alloy management.
With a Brinell Hardness Number (BHN) of approximately 16, Hardball alloy delivers improved durability and deformation resistance compared to softer lead blends, while still maintaining reliable mold fill-out and clean casting characteristics.
This makes it an excellent all-purpose choice for casters who want dependable performance across multiple calibers without moving into extremely hard or brittle alloy ranges.
Cast with confidence. Shoot with consistency.
