The Rock Shot Products 6 Inch Stainless Steel Casting Skimmer Ladle is built for removing dross, oxidation, slag, and other surface impurities from molten metal during bullet casting, lead melting, alloying, and general metal casting operations.
The 6-inch saucer-shaped stainless steel bowl provides a wide, shallow surface that makes it easy to skim across the top of molten metal while minimizing the amount of usable alloy removed from the pot.
Precision 5/16" perforated holes allow molten metal to drain back into the melting pot while dross and other unwanted material remain in the skimmer. This helps reduce wasted metal while making routine dross removal faster and easier.
