Rock Shot Products nominal 94% bismuth / 6% tin alloy pieces are produced from the same Bi-Sn alloy used in the manufacture of our premium bismuth shot.
These pieces are generated during our bismuth shot manufacturing process and are recovered for reuse rather than discarded. They may include off-size shot, tails, joined pieces, droplets and other production pieces that do not meet our finished-shot size or shape specifications. While they are not suitable for sale as finished bismuth shot, the metal itself remains useful nominal 94% bismuth / 6% tin alloy.
Each order contains 1 pound (16 ounces) of Bi94Sn6 alloy pieces.

Why Bismuth Shot Alloy Pieces?
These pieces provide a convenient way to purchase our standard 94/6 bismuth-tin shot alloy without purchasing finished, size-graded bismuth shot. The smaller pieces can be weighed and portioned for melting, casting, alloying and other applications where finished spherical shot is unnecessary.
Because this material originates directly from our bismuth shot production, useful alloy is recovered rather than discarded or unnecessarily processed back into finished shot.
Molybdomancy / Fortune Pouring
Bismuth-tin alloy can also be used for traditional metal-pouring activities commonly referred to as molybdomancy or fortune pouring. The smaller pieces make it convenient to portion and melt material for appropriate applications.
Please Note: This product intentionally consists of mixed production pieces. Individual pieces will vary considerably in size, shape, surface finish and appearance and may include tails, flattened pieces, joined shot, droplets, off-size shot and other shapes. Product photos are representative; the exact mixture received will vary from bag to bag.
