Premium Bismuth Shot – (Size BB) 5 lb Bag – Made in USA – Waterfowl Safe Reloading Shot
Rock Shot Products
Our Premium Bismuth Shot is engineered specifically for shotgun reloading, delivering exceptional performance for waterfowl hunting, upland birds, and non-toxic shotgun loads where lead is prohibited.
Behind Rock Shot Products is a manufacturing operation with nearly a decade of experience producing high-quality bismuth shot for the reloading industry. Our production specialist has helped supply bismuth shot used by hunters and reloaders across the United States and internationally, supporting the growing demand for reliable non-toxic ammunition.
The experienced producer behind our operation previously manufactured bismuth shot for several long-established companies within the shooting industry — including manufacturers with over 87 years of history. That same expertise now powers Rock Shot Products' own production line, allowing us to deliver premium bismuth shot directly to reloaders.
Our manufacturing process incorporates refined production techniques and proprietary improvements developed through years of industry experience. The result is more consistent pellet sizing, excellent density, and reliable ballistic performance for serious reloaders who demand dependable results.
Bismuth shot offers a unique advantage for reloaders. It is softer than steel yet significantly denser, making it safe for use in many classic and vintage shotguns that cannot safely shoot steel shot.
Because bismuth has a density much closer to lead than steel, reloaders can produce loads that maintain excellent velocity, strong downrange energy, and dense patterns while remaining fully non-toxic and waterfowl legal.
Our carefully formulated bismuth alloy produces more consistent pellets designed to deliver reliable performance across a wide range of shotgun reloading applications.
Each bag contains 2 pounds of Size BB premium bismuth shot, ideal for waterfowl hunting, upland game, and non-toxic shotgun loads where steel alternatives may not provide the same performance.
For reloaders seeking lead-like performance without lead, bismuth remains one of the best non-toxic shot options available today.

Rock Shot Products-The Leading Producer of Premium Bismuth Shot
Bismuth shot behaves differently during production compared to traditional lead or steel shot.
Due to the natural properties of bismuth alloys, pellets are not always perfectly spherical. Some pellets may exhibit minor surface features such as small tails or satellites. These characteristics are normal for bismuth shot and do not negatively impact performance. In many cases, these subtle surface features can actually help stabilize pellets in flight, similar to how dimples help stabilize a golf ball.
Our bismuth shot is produced in large batches to ensure consistent quality for reloaders. While we carefully screen and sort each batch to maintain accurate sizing, minor variations can occur during production.
As a result, a small percentage of pellets may be slightly larger or smaller than the labeled size. For example, an order of Size 4 shot may occasionally include a small number of pellets closer to Size 3 or Size 5.
Overall pellet distribution will remain consistent with the shot size ordered and will perform accordingly in reloading applications.
