Why Foundry Alloy?

Foundry-type alloys have long been used in printing, casting, and other applications where a relatively hard lead-based alloy is desirable.

With approximately 24% antimony, this foundry alloy contains substantially more antimony than many common bullet-casting alloys. Its approximately 12% tin content also contributes to good molten-metal flow and mold fill-out.
